Terms of use

Digs for Workers is an advertising board run by Brunel Strategic Resourcing Group Ltd (BSR Group). It lets landlords advertise rooms and lets workers and contractors contact them directly.

What we do and don't do

We provide a place to advertise rooms and a way to make contact. We are not a letting agent. We don't vet landlords, tenants or properties, we don't arrange viewings or bookings, and we don't handle rent or deposits. Any agreement is made directly between the landlord and the person renting.

Landlords

Landlords are responsible for their own listings, bookings and properties, including that listings are accurate and up to date, that rooms are safe and meet the law (including gas and electrical safety, HMO licensing where it applies and Right to Rent checks), and that they have any permission or insurance they need to let the room.

Listings must be genuine rooms the landlord is entitled to let. Listings must not discriminate unlawfully or include offensive content. We can hide or remove any listing or account at any time, including after reports from users.

Listings not confirmed for 21 days are hidden until the landlord confirms them. Listing is currently free. If we introduce a fee, we'll tell landlords in advance and nobody will be charged without agreeing to it.

Workers and contractors

Check a room and its landlord yourself before you agree to anything. Report anything that looks wrong using the link on the listing.

Liability

We aren't responsible for the accuracy of listings, the condition of any property, or any agreement between landlords and the people renting from them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
